Craig Burleigh Photography, and by extension the online properties owned and operated by Craig Burleigh Photography, understand that you care how your personal information is used and shared. Whilst we appreciate you trust we will do so carefully and sensibly, Craig Burleigh Photography is also obliged to comply with the requirements of the Federal Government's National Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Act).

This document comprises our Privacy Policy.

In Plain English

In the following is a whole lot of legalese about privacy concerns on this site. What it comes down to is this: we're not in the business of selling or exploiting any of your personal information.

Some of the services we use on the site (for example Facebook sharing buttons) allow other companies to get some data about what you're doing (e.g. Facebook can track that you clicked a Facebook share button on this site) and those other companies are probably interested in this kind of thing so they can show you ads about stuff that interests you.

We're not in the ad-showing business ourselves, but we still use a service (Google Analytics or similar) to detect how many people visit this site, what pages they look at etc. This helps us figure out what kind of stuff you like and how we can make more of it.

Any data we have of this kind is anonymized. We don't know who exactly does what exactly, we just see aggregated numbers.

Oh yeah, and if you give us your email address (by signing up to our newsletter, say), then we have your email address... and we won't sell it or anything weird like that. We'll just use it to send you emails (unless you tell us to stop, which you can do anytime).

So, here's pretty much the same thing, but in legal-speak:
