  • I absolutely love your photographs of the ‘old’ Barbados especially the Bajans at work and home in Sugar Hill. Having lived there as a child in the late 70s and early 80s – and travelling and working there for many years in between – I experienced the older, untouched Barbados. Seeing your work is takes me back to those places. I can smell the salt air in Cattlewash and the clay smell from the earth in St. Joseph. Thank you for sharing your writing and photographs. They are very special.

    • Hello Graham – so happy that you are enjoying the site – bit by bit I’m getting the stuff up – those days in Sugar Hill were very special. We were down last year and I took some photos – quite alot of change like everywhere.
