Hi Craig, I enjoyed your shots of Ra II arrival. Remember the day well, as my late brother in law Jimmy Croney, who was great friends with Alan and Jill Otway and Pat Toppin, was also a ham operator and we spent the morning on his rig relaying the progress of it being towed to the baggage warehouse back to operators back in Norway. We then met it at the harbour.

Great to hear from you Steve – was a pretty exciting achievement! I was lucky to visit the Kon Tiki Museum in 1974 but Ra II was not yet on display.
